Hello, my name is Tessa Hankey

I am a mother of 3 girls and a wife to my beautiful husband going on 18 years.

I live my best life; moved to a warmer climate in the best location ever to give our girls an outdoor, sporty life. I have amazing, spirited and loving friends who support each other through thick and thin. I have a business that I have built through hard work and perseverance.

But it wasn’t always the case…..

I was married once, at the young age of 20. I thought I knew what I wanted, and I was clearly wrong. I felt old, I had no direction other than that of a wife. I could not spend a single dime, without getting the approval.

I was unhappy!

The hardest decision I made was to leave the marriage. I felt lost, heartbroken and lost many friends. And yes I thought they were true friends.

One thing I could count on was the support of my family. Without them I believe that I would still feel lost.

I met my husband not long after, however I wasn’t ready to give him my all.

I knew I was a shell of the person I was and needed to work on myself.

To be the person he fell in love with. I needed to feel that about myself too.

Working on myself was the best thing I did, I learnt more about myself then I ever had before. I became the person I knew I was inside; confident, strong, and happy!

And now I show my girls what it’s like to be themselves, show who they really are, and not hide the person that they are from the world. They are beautiful souls that deserve all the happiness in their lives.
